LUIS GARCÍA BERLANGA, 1953, 75’
Residents of Villar del Rio , a village in Castile , await the arrival of the Committee Marshall and they plan and organize a big celebration for his reception in the village , which coincides with the performance of a famous folk singer . They wear their best, compose a song in honor of the committee and before realizing it , end to build a new village cardboard inspired by Andalusia .
The film parodies the rural life of postwar Spain and is one of the masterpieces of Spanish cinema.
Despite the satirical critique of the exclusion of Spain from the Marshall Plan , this film was approved by the Frankish censorship.

The authors Lord Byron , Mary Shelley and Percy B. Shelley , along with Dr. Polidori , decide to write a horror story . As a result of this challenge , Mary Shelley wrote Frankenstein , a mythical hero who reflects her own fears .

The film won the Silver Shell for Best Director at the San Sebastian Festival in 1988 and in 1989 six Goya Awards , including Best Director and Best Art Direction . The film is in English with Spanish and Greek subtitles .
El Bola (Bolas)
The twelve years old Pablo , nicknamed “The Ball » (El Bola), is living in a family environment of conflict and violence . Getting to know Alfredo , a new classmate , he comes into contact with another family reality and finds the courage to face his problems .
The film was awarded with 3 Goya Awards : Best Film, Best Debut Actor ( Juan Jose Bagiesta ) and best original screenplay .
