The EnCardia is a Greek band which creates and presents music and songs through the rich musical tradition of Southern Italy and the wider Mediterranean region. Founded in 2004 and until now they have carried approximately 2000 live performances all over Greece, Italy, South France, Germany, Algeria, Switzerland and Cyprus.They have published five discs receiving the best reviews  particularly on the unique relationship they have with the public when they are on stage.

They have collaborated discographically and at  live performances with the most important representatives of Southern Italy music (G. Avantaggiato, R. Licci, Cinzia Villani, E.Castagna, Daniele Durante, Vincenza Magnolo, the ghetonia bands, mala lingua, mala agapi, Canzoniere Grecanico Salentino, Asteria, Uccio Aloisi gruppu etc.) and also with Greek artists such as Argyris Bakirtzis, Dionysis Savvopoulos, Nikos Portokaloglou, Phoebus Delivorias, Claudia Delmer, Haig Yazdjian, Kostas Thomaidis, Claus Lekka, Chr.Tsiamoulis, Alkinoos Ioannidis, Nick Xidakis Katy Koullia, Kalliopi Vetta, C. Voukanos, N. Platyrachos, Symphony orchestra of the municipality of Athens, puppet theater group “Ark myths”  actors Elias Logothetis and Maria Zahari etc.

In August 2008 along with the veteran Giovanni Avantaggiato and in front of 120,000 spectators  they preformed the concert , under the leading  kind of festival “La notte della taranta” in Italy. In March 2012, the movie of Angelo Kovotsos titled Encardia «The dancing stone” won the audience award at the 14th  documentary festival in Thessaloniki . In March 2013 and February 2014  they staged the musical play” Women of stone ” in the Hall of Thessaloniki and the Concert Hall of Athens respectively, together with the polyphonic ensemble and have and won outstanding reviews.  In the winter 2016 they have preformed for the Athenian audience the musical show «I emigranti» (theater Faust) which was extremely successful .
