Vasilis Liosis was born in Piraeus in 1965. From his childhood, he dealt with the art of typography. From 1980 until today deals with the art of photography.

The musical journey began in 1996, learning traditional Greek rhythms in toubeleki with M. Klapakis, the tabor with G. Gevgelija and bouzouki with N. Zafiridis. Two years later, he met in Greece the Master Ravy Magnifique, teacher and musical percussion and drums, who lives permanently in Paris and has played with renowned musicians of jazz and other genres. After watching a wide range of courses in the School of Paris, won a full music system education, on learning of percussion and the establishment of large groups, in order to communicate through music. In 1999, he created the first Brazilian percussion school in Athens called BATUCA. Then, he created many groups in various cities of Greece.

He gives lessons in two sites in Athens and forming groups of adults, in order learn them how to be expressed to the public through music and also offers integrated and accelerated courses to schools and municipalities for large groups of children (up to 150 people) playing in group shows.

The need to have many percussion instruments for large groups and his love for construction led him to the construction of various musical instruments.
